The Perfect Wedding Reception Venue

A couple of months ago, my younger sister got married in a beautiful ceremony at her church. Our father has pastored this rural, evangelical church for the past twenty-nine years. Therefore, this special place to both of us was the obvious right venue to have her wedding at. After the wedding ceremony, my parents hosted a reception in the church’s activity building. My sister even decorated this large building herself. Have you picked a venue for your wedding, but don’t know where to have your reception at? When looking for the right place to have this special event, consider your personality and the personality of your future mate. For instance, if you’re cowboy or a cowgirl, you probably wouldn’t enjoy a wedding reception at an upscale country club in town. On this blog, you will discover the best places to host a wedding reception at.

Loved Your Trade Show Models? 2 Ways They Can Help You Boost Your Business Even More

by Virgil Woods

If you enlisted the help of trade show models for your last trade show and were impressed with how much they helped you create successful show, then you may wish they could help you with your business in other ways. Most trade show models also perform other types of promotional work, so ask their agency if they are also available as promotional models. If so, here are a few ideas on how they can help you promote even more brand awareness and continue to give your business a boost.

1. Send Them to Fundraisers You Are Sponsoring

Sponsoring local fundraisers is a great way to advertise your business while helping the needy. Typically, directors of the events contact local businesses and ask them to donate to support the event in exchange for a banner or advertisement at the event. However, you can use this opportunity to do more than just display a banner with your business name.

The next time you hear of a local fundraiser being held, offer to sponsor in exchange for not only a display of a promotional banner at the venue, but also request to send a couple of promotional models to it to hand out small free items with your brand logo on them. Ideas for items include key chains, can cooler sleeves, or other useful items that won't get discarded immediately after the event.

Everyone who visits the event will then have a small item with your business or brand name on it that will remind them of you every time they use it, and they will remember the attractive model who gave it to them.

2. Hold a Fun Raffle

People love the chance to win something free, and holding a raffle is a great way for you to gain brand recognition. Make sure you give your tickets away free, because selling them would make your contest an illegal lottery.

Your models can help you in two ways with your raffle. First, they can help you hand out tickets. Have them stand right outside your business door and ask passersby if they would like to come in and fill out a free ticket. This gets people in your door to see what is inside, and participants will be more likely to remember you next time they need your product or service. They can then give participants a small handbook you create about the rules of the contest that also includes some promotional materials along with an invitation for the participants to be present when the winner is selected.

Then, on the chosen date when you announce the winner, you can have the models come back and draw the winning ticket. They can present the winner with their product or a gift certificate for their free service along with a handful of balloons.
